Fr. Melchiades Dalgado (10.12.1928 - 25.07.2016) - My dear Confrere! Greetings to you from Nagpur.I am very sorry to inform you that Fr. Melchiades Dalgado msfs, aged 87, passed away today (24/07/2016) early in the morning at 03.00am at Mermier Sadan, due to old age related ailments. The funeral Mass is scheduled to be held tomorrow (25.07.2016) at 3pm at MSFS Provincilate Chapel, Sadar, Nagpur, followed burial service at Seminary Hills, Nagpur. May his soul rest in peace.

Fr. Dominic Savio msfs (30.06.1969 - 1.7.2016) - South East Province. With heavy heart we inform you of the sudden and sad demise of our dear confrere Rev. Fr. G. Dominic Savio, MSFS. This morning about 10 am Fr. G. Dominic Savio went to Trichy from our Provincialate, Nagamangalam by car. And on his way back to our Provincialate around 1:30 pm he met with an accident due to heavy wind and the loss of the control of the vehicle. He hid his car against a parked lorry which was loaded with sand by the side of the road. He was badly injured and immediately he was taken to the hospital by the ambulance. Unfortunately on his way to hospital he died. His funeral ceremony is to be held tomorrow (approximately) at 2:30 pm, at SFS Minor Seminary, Pudukkottai. Please pray for the repose of his soul.

Sorry to announce the sad demise of Fr Willie D'silva aged 63. He suffered from a massive heart attack and died in his room on the bed at 08.30 pm. His funeral Mass is scheduled on 28th March at 10.00 am in the Provincial House followed by funeral services at seminary hill cemetery Nagpur. It is a big loss for the Province. He was one of the members of the Provincial Council. May his soul rest in peace.

Rev. Fr. Kurian Chempalakunnel - Nagpur Province: 01.12.1938 - 16.03.2016

Regret to inform you of the sad demise of Rev. Fr. Ladir Joao Brondani, Msfs, (Brazil Province), this morning (1st August) around 10.00 am. He was in Caçador Seminary. He was sick and admitted in hospital. He was diagnosed with cancer in abdomen. It was in advanced stage, when found. Pls pray for the repose of his soul. May he rest in peace!

Father John Bosco Khakha msfs, aged 53 and a priest for 20 years, died of cardiac arrest on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 9. 30 p.m, at Udalguri, Assam. May his soul rest in peace

Bro. Lazarus Karakunnel(Nagpur Province) aged 84, passed away on Sunday 29th March 2015, at 09.10pm. He was suffering from ailments related to the problems of aging. Funeral mass is scheduled on Tuesday 31st March at 10.00am in the MSFS Provincialate House Chapel, followed by funeral service at Seminary Hills, Nagpur. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Rev. Fr. P. Paul Samy, Msfs (1970 - 2014) South East Province passed away on 21st December 2014 Sunday during the Mass. Some of his last statements in his last Mass introduction: “Let us always do the Will of God.”, “We all must say Yes to Jesus always.”

Rev. Fr. Mathew Mundamattam Msfs (1946-2014) Vizag Province passed away on 8th December 2014.

Rev. Bro. John Maruthikuzhiyil, MSFS(1928-2014) Nagpur Province: Seventy years to our life, or eighty if we are strong(Psalm 90.10). 60 years in the Consecrated Way of Life of the 86 years, is the way Bro. John, lovingly here on earth.

May the Good Lord grant them the reward He promised, to the just and to the faithful one. May their souls rest in Peace!
